The Light Within
This wonderful Morning Glory caught my attention on my morning walk with my dog Lillybelle and I had to return home and get my camera.
What surprised me the most was how this was taken on an overcast day with a slight mist in the air with no other lighting.True Inner Light.

I am filled with her Wisdom

Onliness is not Lonliness
A young boy was looked upon as sad and alone for he had no friends with whom to play. He was left to his own on the streets of a large city in which he felt so small and insignificant.
As he played by himself he noticed that all of nature was inviting him to join in its celebration of beauty and that everywhere he went it surrounded him. Not only in the natural state of things but in the creations of mankind which rose up to emulate all the wondrous facets of Nature's ways.
Those who did not understand him would look and say, "How sad this child is all alone?"
Yet he was in the company of those who showed him so much more than could ever be taught by them.
Unaware of his onliness he felt a Oneness until somebody told him it was loneliness from which he then began to see separation.
Now some 60 years later he would say that the Love he felt as a child came rising up through the cracks in the concrete and pavement, through sandy spaces around the bricks on which he walked and kept him dancing in a world which others refused to see. So happy again to return to the simple wonder of it all!

It's been a while... so here is a new one!
In an instant...
Through the wall we travel
into the chamber of creative vision
to be lost in a dream
Where one travels deiseil
along the spiraling Pachisi board
of rainbow colored tiles

from whose omnipresent view
and casting of shells
Our every move becomes
a mechanical extension

Synergy 14 ~ Love
There are times when I write and just don't have an idea that seems to be fitting to showcase the words; when this occurs I usually place them in a folder named Musings or Unfinished Work. They become a part of a collection that doesn't get read or seen and so their energy is not dispersed, the seeds that are left on the shelf.
This verse is an example which has now been transformed by Jennifer Ravsten who started a Facebook page ~ஐ~Artworks~ஐ~....The purpose and hope of this page is to promote all artistic forms, to feature artists and give them a place to discuss their individual talents. We want only original music, art, writing, video and any other creative medium available to shine on this page. It is for Creative Minds At Work!
I have created many times in response to another poet's work and or taken pictures, artwork, or videos and placed with my own as inspirations which work both ways. This is the first time where it has been an intentional collaboration and I am looking forward to more.

Today a loving husband, father, grandfather and amazing human being left this world after a 10 month journey of having a brain tumor. The memories he has left behind will continue to be a part of this world, for his presence and laughter will not be soon forgotten.
I sat here at my computer tonight having returned from visiting his beloved wife of 50+ years and as I usually do before I write my musings I humbly ask for those who want to speak through me to guide me in my writings.
I placed my fingers on the keyboard and started to type out the beginning of a verse and my fingers were soon deleting what I had written and the above message was typed just as it appears, no editing, no misspelling, no hesitation or pausing to think about it.
Thank You Charlie, glad you made it home!

Just For Today
Reiki Principles
Just for Today, Let Go of Anger.
Just for Today, Let Go of Worry

Just for Today, Be Kind to all Living things.
While sharing on a facebook group I belong to, SHINING AND INFUSING OUR LIGHT AND LOVE, there was a posting which read as follows:
“You can’t control everything and have a smooth life. You can control some things, so what can you let go of to let life flow TO YOU? How can you surrender? When will you give-up on chasing the things you want in your life? Are you willing to stop chasing them away? What can you do to get yourself ready to let it start coming TO YOU?” ~ KC
As it caught my attention and I began reading the loving responses, I was compelled to add my own to the growing list. The responses continued and I could see how the power of the words we were using called me to extract them from the sentences and showcase them in their full glory.
I was reminded of the power of affirmation and the message of Just for Today, and so I began to write.
Just for Today
I will be more flowing,
I will surrender,
I will practice unconditional giving,
I will unattach from my shoulds and what ifs,
I will focus on allowance,
I will open my Heart,
I will practice letting go,
I will embrace freedom, harmony, love, and light,
with full acceptance and gratitude.
