Regret or Rejoice
Having a Birthday is like getting a check up
As we review our life with all
Its twists and turns through a timeline
Only to face ourselves and the choices we made
And yet the only failure we make
Is to recognize that each choice
Only took a moment to make
And a lifetime to unfold

Sprouting
And so as the sprouts rise from the soil
never knowing what may befall them
we too must open to the unknown
in an innocent yet responding manner
for that is where the beauty lies
not above nor below
never knowing what may befall them
we too must open to the unknown
in an innocent yet responding manner
for that is where the beauty lies
not above nor below
but in the moment

I had a dream..
If we are to have a dream
let it be of Peace and Unity
All of Earth's children in Love
Sharing in the abundance
into which we were born
For when the dream comes true
we will at last be awakened
to the Glory of our United Heart
and the Light of our Presence
We will shine into the universe
as energetic waves of gratitude
more brilliant than a thousand suns
let it be of Peace and Unity
All of Earth's children in Love
Sharing in the abundance
into which we were born
For when the dream comes true
we will at last be awakened
to the Glory of our United Heart
and the Light of our Presence
We will shine into the universe
as energetic waves of gratitude
more brilliant than a thousand suns

When I See Clearly ~ Tom Walsh
When I See Clearly
I recognize that I am a part of a community of people that are
interconnected and interdependent, and that I need to be an active part of that
community on the level that best suits who I am.
When I see clearly, I recognize that the fresh air, the blue or cloudy
skies, the sunshine and the snow, the winds and the rains, are all gifts that
maintain the precarious balance of this beautiful planet on which we live.
When I see clearly, I recognize that other people aren't necessarily wrong
just because I don't agree with them, and that there may be something important
to learn from the people who disagree with me the most.
When I see clearly, I recognize the fact that I'm a very special person who
has very special gifts, and that I'm just as deserving of my respect and love
as anyone else is.
When I see clearly, I recognize that the mistakes that I and others make
are part of being human, are part of the need to learn through experience, and
should be dealt with accordingly and not judged harshly. Some learn more slowly than others, and thus
will make more mistakes.
When I see clearly, I recognize my need to be me, to be true to me, and to
be the best me I possibly can be. I have
a responsibility to the other people in this world to do to others as I would
have done to me, to speak to others as I would be spoken to, to give more than
I would receive.
When I see clearly, I recognize that the world is a beautiful place full of
wonders, that I am a beautiful person full of potential, and that each person
around me is beautiful and loving and doing his or her best to make the best of
life.
Tom Walsh.
